Well, I just completley clean reinstalled windows 8.1 yet this game is still crashing.
There's literally nothing else left I can do. The game is broken and this is a problem only a developer can fix with patches. When is next patch due??

Yup add me to the list.
I have a brand new install of Windows 7 on new hardware and have tried numerous nvidia drivers but the problem is still there. I have concluded that it is a problem with the game itself so hopefully they'll fix it soon. Before everyone stops playing out of frustration.
(p.s. GTX 570)

NO. The problem is the game. It was working fine before they patched it and now it isn't. I couldn't even get through one round this morning.

I should also note it looks like that materialsystem_dx11.dll might be pretty generic. It may crash for many reasons. So this thread may just be annoying to the developers and not very helpful, but if you are planning an upgrade, I would consider this a buyer beware.

Try these setting and see if they help:
Anti-Aliasing 4x MSAA
Texture Filtering Anisotropic 8x
Mine were maxed out, since I lowered the values I crash less frequently, so far... If this works please post on the orginal thread:

Heya everyone,
I just wanted to let you know that we will be looking into these crash reports that appear to be solely affecting nVidia GTX users in the 5xx-7xx range.
At this stage, the one thing I would advise is trying to disable any overlays. As some had mentioned that your v-sync settings were non-standard, I would also suggest that you set your nvidia control panel settings back to default.
Additionally, you can check whether installing a different version of your gpu driver alleviates the crashing.
Cheers,
Nils

I am getting the same error - crash as soon as a map is loaded. I have a GTX 285.

Getting the error myself, a real pain since I know it worked back in the beta, was trying out their free 48 hour deal and was thinking of picking it up since it's 50% off but if it doesn't work then why bother? Think they just a sale, shame too, love this game.

Getting the crash listed below when trying to load the training or any map. Windows 8.1 Pro x64. AMD Phenom 8450 Triple Core 2.10Ghz, 8gb ram. NVIDIA GTX 260. Same problem on drivers version 337.88 and 340.43 Driver BETA
Tried with keyboard/mouse and even bought a Titanfall xbox one controller with PC preview drivers.
Ran all windows updates and no change.
Ran origin.exe as administrator and no change. Ran origin.exe as administrator and repaired files, still crashes.
Tried adding to game options command line /affinity 2 and no effect.
Please let me know if you need any more tests. I hope I can get a 48hr renewal when a fix arrives. Thanks! Hope to play it sometime.

Same issues here,
I've been playing this game for about 1 month now, had absolutly no issues what soever until yesterday i got this app crash, i ignored it (was at my mates and pretty wasted lol)
Today (sobered up) i tried again, and its happening quite a lot, but seemingly random - always during matches.
My system:
MSI Z87-G45 Gaming Motherboard
Intel core i7 4770k @ 3.9GHz nVidia Geforce GTX 780Ti Superclocked Corsair Vengence 16GB
OCZ Vector 480GB SSD 2x in raid0
All settings are ultra, "Insane" Texture Quality at 1080p Resolution vSync: ON @ 80Hz
All water cooled, temps are definetly fine (Cpu/GPU Both below 45 at 100% usage) and my overclocks are 99.99% stable
Windows 7 Ultimate, all updates installed (apart from a few Visual studio ones i refuse to install for developer reasons)
Faulting module name: materialsystem_dx11.dll
So it seems to me if they claim to have fixed this in a previous patch why are people still experiencing it?
Also why would it randomly start happening? Nothing is different on my system from 2 days ago when i played 10-15 matches in a row without a single crash.
