EDIT3: There were some hidden network adapters.
Once removed, I was able to connect to server.
Just had to wait a while for it to refresh.
Thanks to @Kompor.MeleduQ from discord /r/Titanfall for the suggestion.
EDIT2: So I have the Datacenters appear now, but I still cannot connect
So the following solution might work for some still....
EDIT: Editing top post to include answer
Disable ALL Network Adapters in Device Manager except the one you are using :D
Just disabling the ones in Network Connections will NOT work.
Probably need to restart after doing this.
Thanks to JeePeeGee from Reddit posted the following suggestion:
Deactivate all network adapters except the one you use.
ORIGINAL POST:

I've been unable to connect to a server to play Multiplayer.
I've been able to play Titanfall 2 Single Player for over 19 hours now, (1900 AWST, 27th October) even though it appears the game was only released 2 hours ago....
I get a NOTICE: Contacting Respawn Servers
When I click on Data Center, it does not show any data centers.
Thanks.

Make sure you show ALL INCLUDING HIDDEN and disable ALL Network Adapters in Device Manager except the one you are using :D

@jelazee Hi, can I confirm that the workaround you include here still works?

I just want to be sure that you're not encountering a different/new issue.

Hello,
No, this does not work for me.
Even though my ping to the nearest data centre is 11 I am unable to play. Knowing that my PC has only one networking device (a wired Ethernet adaptor) I was sceptical, but I thought I'd humour you and try disabling the other devices - with no effect. Different
I even restarted to confirm it...
As with many other (ignored) individuals I posted in the official Titanfall Forums but since the 30th of October there has been no official response (https://forums.titanfall.com/en-us/discussion/5547/error-connection-to-server-timed-out/p1) .
While not my video this is exactly what happens (https://account.xbox.com/en-us/gameclip/0e86301f-c3e5-47bb-9b1a-126d91b9828a?gamerTag=Xer0Signal&sci... )
The game is perfectly playable early in the day, and late at night - but impossible to play in the evening or for most of the weekend - I'm not sure I paid for a computer game that I can only play at times of the day that I'm working.
Apparently official word from Respawn is in the "You're holding it wrong" vein by saying our routers are to blame - despite being able to play any other game, and despite being able to play Titanfall 2 at any of the previously mentioned times.
http://www.speedtest.net/my-result/5803534796 as you can see I don't suffer from poor internet speed. As an experiment I loaded up two games at random Vermintide on Steam and Rainbow 6 Seige on Uplay - even watching a video on Netflix on another monitor the connection speed was latency free.

You'll see in the thread a lot of users reporting that various local networking steps (such as disabling intellistream or connecting directly) helped. This would suggest there's some merit to the theory that the routers are a factor.
This can also be muddied when - as with a lot of issues - folks can pop in with similar-but-different problems, which can lead to extra confusion. You've done this here and in another thread and I've removed the other post as misleading. Being unable to connect during peak times is entirely separate from being unable to connect at all.
Anyway, as folks posted in that thread, Respawn are looking into the connection issues. I understand that you're frustrated, but posting potentially confusing info on unrelated threads helps nobody and can hinder the process of finding fixes.

As a student of Computer Networking, who works providing IT support at the university computing labs, I have a little experience with routers, and have tried every suggestion listed... not a single one (or combination of) has had any effect
As for the indication that Respawn are looking into it - that has not been confirmed by Respawn, only independent posters... so far I've paid full price for a game I can only play when I'm not really meant to be at my computer - staff sickness cancelling some lectures meaning I've had extra time at home.
Nothing in the game required specifications suggests only some routers are compatible with the game (and specifically one game... no other online title is affected)
It might only be on a thread for a separate (though still network) issue ... but as no one has officially comented on the actual issue anywhere it is more than frustrating, I feel like Respawn or EA have taken my money and then don't care about my custom, I feel insulted and ignored. The thread on the official Titanfall forums was created on the 30th of October and is yet to have an official response ... nowhere in the technical specification for the game does it say "by the way, we only like certain routers because we're not great at netcode"

Just wanted to add that I personally didn't have to disable all the network adapters. The only one I had to disable to get it working was the one labeled "Microsoft Hosted Network Virtual Adapter". After I disabled that one, I was able to connect.
It actually wasn't a problem when I was using a wired connection. It only became a problem when I switched to using a USB Wi-Fi adapter. I'm on Windows 8.1 if that's relevant.
Hopefully that helps with tracking down the cause.
