Origin Overlay still disabled in Titanfall 2

I'm really annoyed that origin still has not fixed the "origin overlay disabled" bug on Titanfall 2. I have searched through the forums for days now and I have tried everything from clearing my cache, to degrading my client. But when I degrade my origin client my friends and chat are disabled and I can't invite friends that way either. Is there anyone on planet earth that has a fix for this? I have done everything that has been said in the forums that I have seen so far.
