Unknown Error Fix Didn't Fix My Unknown Error

Hi! So I've been having a whole bunch of issues with my Sims 3 game that I had been attempting to get fixed in this thread here (Link: https://answers.ea.com/t5/The-Sims-Mac/Sims-3-Stuck-on-Loading-Screen-MAC/m-p/6411184#M9862). The person who was helping me gave me a whole set of instructions of how to uninstall my game, reinstall it, and then install the Late Night expansion pack.

The last step was to launch the game, and if it didn't work, to apply the Unknown Error Fix. I did that, but I'm still getting the Unknown Error popup! I tried to reply to the person who was helping me and ask what to do, but it's been two days and they haven't replied. I'd appreciate any help in getting this fixed!
