Sims 4 update error

Since the new update on Sims 4 I havent been able to actually play my existing games, it either jumps to the manage worlds page or stays on the sims loading page.

I've pre ordered the seasons pack which is available from today and was hoping to have a go but its not working. 

Can anyone help or having the same problem i've tried updating it again and repairing but nothing seems to be working any suggestions?

Do you play with CC/Mods? If so have you moved them out, repaired your game, then tried to load it without the CC/Mods?

Thank you so much I've removed my CC and the gameplay seems to be working fine now. 

I will try to reenter my CC gradually and test it. 😄
