Sims 4 stops, then starts, Mac

I've started playing Sims 4 again. The issue is that it stops when it shows the logo, but then after a few minutes, it starts again. However, this is not the idea of how the game should work. I've tried several things, but it does not work. Any new ideas?

My Mac:

MacBook Pro (13-inch, 2016, Two Thunderbolt 3 ports)

Processor

2 GHz Intel Core i5

Memory

8 GB 1867 MHz LPDDR3

Start disc

Macintosh HD

Graphics

Intel Iris Graphics 540 1536 MB

UPDATE:

Tried resetting Origin, now the game does not even start. It shows in the upper left corner The Sims 4, but I can see my background with my own files and my dock.

Have you moved out your Sims 4 from the Documents > Electronic Arts folder to your desktop then tried to launch the game?
