Sims 4 resetting on its own [ Edited ]

So every time I play the sims it creates an entirely new folder outside my ea folder completely getting rid of everything I made so yeah I do fix this

Do you have iCloud Drive enabled to store your Documents folder in the cloud? If so you need to disable and revert back to the Documents folder locally on your Mac - https://bluebellflora.com/2017/02/06/sims-3-and-sims-4-not-loading-save-games/

The game looks in the logged in user's Documents > Electronic Arts folder for the Sims 4 folder locally.
