Sims 4 crashing in gameplay (Macbook Pro) [ Edited ]

My game keeps crashing when i am in gameplay, i have tried a few things but none of them seem to work. Ive been playing the sims on my macbook pro for about a month and this started all of a sudden. Here are the specs for my Macbook pro

Version 10.13.2
 
MacBook Pro (13-inch, 2017)
 
Processor 3.2 GHz Intel Core i5
 
Memory 8gb 2133 Mhz LPDDR3
 
Startup Disk Macintosh HD
 
Graphics Intel Iris Plus Graphics 650

@Bluebellflora Yeah for both but it seems like I fixed it, I turned off Retina display and it seems like it not crashing anymore!

@senjr12lol Did this happen since the recent update to the game? Do you have CC/Mods which you moved out of the game to see if it works without them?

Maybe your settings were too high for your Mac to handle, turning off retina reduced the load on your Mac.
