Sims 4 Origin Access - Mac

Checked on Origin Access for Sims 4 and not once was there a warning that it doesn't include sims 4 for MAC. Now I have a completely useless subscription to Origin for £20 because nobody told me it was just Sims 4 on Mac by outright purchase. I feel like I've been mis-sold on this product and I want to know my options since EA won't do a live chat with me.

Origin Access is not available for Mac, only Windows, so will be useless to you anyway. Make sure your location is set to Origin when trying to initiate live chat via EA's help site - https://help.ea.com/en/

Then the opening screen shouldn't have a Mac symbol alongside a Windows symbol. Or it should be clear that you may only play the game once you've purchased it.

I had this too, instead I clicked the gear icon next to the play button and just clicked download.. and it works for some reason
