Hey All
It has been eons since i've been on the forums but I could really use some help. A development has occurred.
For the first time ever, my Mac warns that compatibility for my MacBook with the 32bit system is was using will be coming to an end. This concerns me because, well, what does this mean for my computer? I saw this article: https://www.engadget.com/2019/03/15/the-sims-4-drops-32-bit-support/ and apparently a legacy version will be available for us but i don't want that. I'm also using a friend's cousin's account since she already had many of the sims 4 expansions, stuff packs, etc., and I've also bought packs as well that we all share. If I don't update my current operating system {Mac Mojave 10.14.3} will I still be forced to undergo these changes? I already have plans of buying a gaming station, but not in the near future and definitely not by when this 64bit situation rolls out. Any news on what this could mean? Especially for custom content? I also have an early 2015 MacBook Air.
Sincerely,
A frustrated Simmer

Hi @TheSirensMelodyx ,
The Sims 4 is already 64 Bit on macOS and that error message is a bug and should not appear when running The Sims 4. A future update will require a Mac with Metal API support to play The Sims 4, but your early 2015 MacBook Air will have no problem at all as it is compatible. You have more information about this here: https://bluebellflora.com/2019/06/11/metal-upgrade-postponed-for-sims-4/
