Sim4 update july 2019

So huge problem! Just updated the game. Now when the game goes to load it gets past the first part where you see the new dimond (cant remember what its called, sorry) it then brings it down to a line with the minimize, smaller screen and the exit button. You click to fill the screen again and it is a blank screen. Nothing happens, no changes, just sits there. What am I doing wrong?!
