Bug After Patch Update [ Edited ]

Okay so I thought it was fixed, was playing it after I had posted here and all was fine. But just booted the game now - and nope it's back again, so thought I'd post here.

Here are my specs:

macOS Mojave version10.14.4
MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, Mid-2014)
Processor: 2.6GHz Intel Core i5
Memory: 8GB 1600MHz DDR3
Graphics: Intel Iris 1528MB

I'll try the Origin Reset Tool and if not a new user account.

EDIT: Reset Origin, and made a new Mac User Account, still the same on that account too. :/

Thanks for trying. Could you boot into safe mode and see if it then works - https://support.apple.com/en-gb/HT201262

If not maybe uninstall the game, run the Origin reset tool, then redownload and install it. Makes sure you keep your Sims 4 folder with your saves etc. in it somewhere safe so you don't lose your data.

I've done all that, completely reinstalled the entire game etcetc aannnd it's still the same

thanks for trying though. You definitely were trying a new clean game and didn't put your old Sims 4 folder back?

I completely deleted my old Sims 4 folder so it was a brand new install etc. :/

Ok, thanks. If it starts working properly again please post back with what fixed it to help others, I can't think of any other suggestions

It was working earlier, but again its broken again.. it seems to have a mind of its own!

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? When a charging icon or text advise should appear in colour(blue-purple-orange), it is always grey and difficult to read the text
What happens when the bug occurs? I can’t see the different colours of text advises in top right, the x of exit icon is not here, charging icon is a grey box
What do you expect to see? Different colours, for exemple: when my sim is in labour the text advise should be orange
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes
Please describe the patch or change you made. patch April 16 /2019 and after patch in ORIGIN
