Did you try the super repair referenced in the first post?

Hello. If by "super repair" you mean deleting that file in the contents folder and having to download every single pack again, I did but to no avail.

Ok so here is the story, I updated my mac and bought Outdoor retreat and updated Sims 4. All in the same afternoon.... This is when the CAS cursor started being non co operative. It won't rotate my sim with a click and turn of the mouse pad as it had previously. It will focus on random parts of my sim when the cursor is not even close to it. I followed the steps provided and no luck, frustrating because I've waited since 2014 for a pets Sims 4 to be released and voila! Not even a month before its release and I no longer have proper game play.....
Here are my specs:
mac OS High Sierra
Version 10.13
Macbook air (13-inch Early 2014)
Processor 1.4 GHz Intel Core i5
Memory 4 GB 1600 MHz DDR3
Graphics Intel HD Graphics 5000 1536 MB
SO AGONIZING TO DEAL WITH THIS NOW!

I think this has something to do with the new mac update... I have read a lot of users of the High Sierra having the exact issue with Sims 4 we are having.... Is there a way to go back...? :3

It may do but it's not affecting everyone. Have you tried the suggestions in the opening post?

Hi this issue is happening to me as well.
macOS High Sierra Version 10.13.1
MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Mid 2015)
Processor 2.2 GHz Intel Core i7
Memory 16 GB 1600 MHz DDR3
Startup Disk Macintosh HD
Graphics Intel Iris Pro 1536 MB
All sims 4 packs except spooky, vintage glamor, and bowling.
I don't use mods or cc.
I've tried every solution on this thread and none have worked.
Error appeared after installing Cats and Dogs and updating my MacBook in the same night, the day before it wasn't happening then it appeared suddenly.

I hate how this is happening again, it is such annoying glitch.
My Specs :
macOS High Sierra
Version 10.13.1
iMac (21.5, Late 2013)
Processor 2.7 GHz Intel Core i5
Memory 8GB 1600 MHz DDR3
Graphics Intel Iris Pro 1536 MB
I do use mods, the basic CAS CC, I use MC Command Center and UI Cheats mods, and a few other in game mods.
I have all the packs that are currently out as of today.
I have repaired my game multiple times and even uninstalled and reinstalled sims 4.
This is also the second time this happened to me.
