My Sims 3 doesn't start! (Mac)

Hii!
I've played Sims 3 in about 3/4 years, always without origin. But a few weeks ago I started getting troubles while starting the game. Sometimes nothing happened when I clicked on the game and sometimes it said my CD wasn't in, but it was. So yesterday I downloaded origin, updated my computer, my game, downloaded a new expansion pack I hadn't used before, and everything seemed okay. But the problems where still there at the end of the day. Now it says that the cd isn't in or it gets stuck where you can see the logo with the blue background, after you've clicked on the play button in the launcher.
I'm sorry for my bad English, it's not my first language xD But please write what to do if you know!! <3
