I have been playing sims 4 on Mac for about 2 years now. Everything was going fine. I installed cats and dogs but the game wasn't working well like other people (The game was still opening). For about a month and a half now I haven't been able to open the game. Origin open , I press play, the little icon on the app bar starts to bob up and down. After that nothing happens. I right click it and press show all windows but "no available windows". I have uninstalled and re installed game, repaired the game, got rid of all my mods and custom content. Nothing has worked. The only thing that worked is if I moved the actual electronic arts folder into the trash but that doesn't seem right and I want to get my custom content back some day. Please help me Im so desperate to play because I haven't played in so long and I miss my families!!!!!!! PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Please run the Origin reset tool then try again. If that doesn't work create a new user account on your Mac and see if you can play in that account.

If you move the Sims 4 folder from Documents > Electronic Arts to the desktop, not the trash, then re-launch the game, does it start?
