How do you solve the unknown error on a El Capitian/Sierra Mac?

When Ever I Launch My Sims 3 Game, A Message Appears On The Screen. "Unknown Error Occured". After This Message Pops Up It Doesn't Open The Game. I Haven't Been Able To Play The Sims For Over 2 Months. I Have Really Been Missing My Sims Games.
