Could you post a DxDiag?
Please follow this how to on how to gather your DxDiag.
You can post the DxDiag by using Pastebin and share the link with us in this topic. Or paste the full thing in between spoiler tags.
Don't paste it directly into your answer, because that won't fit.

Please can you provide more information about your Mac. Instructions on how to do so here - http://answers.ea.com/t5/The-Sims-Mac/READ-FIRST-Sims-4-Mac-Help-Guides-and-Troubleshooting/m-p/4612...
Please also confirm which EPs/SPs/GPs you have installed

I know it's a stupid question but how do i find out which EPs/SPs/GPs i have installed

No need for the EP info. I've moved your thread to this El Capitan one. If you read the second post you'll see that at the moment there are issues with Sims 4 running in El Capitan on Macs with specific graphic cards. Unfortunately your graphics card is one of the ones affected. EA are aware and promised a fix in December but nothing materialised

Damn. Apple CS had me upgrade it to that and the same day that's when my sims stopped working. Well thank you for the help anyway. I really appreciate it.

My game has not worked in about a month and a half. It will not go past a certain frame in the loading screen. I have done everything every forum I have read says to do. I have a Mac, if that changes any advice anyone can give

Please read the second post in this thread I have moved your post to. Does your Mac have one of the affected graphics cards?

Has EA made any fix for this yet? I haven't played since December.
