After about 5-10 minutes of playing i am experiencing a graphical issue that will either cause my game to permanently have graphical issues until restart (of game), or freeze and crash of my game. Been happening since the beginning of December. Just experiencing on mac. Have been running sims 4 in BootCamp in my mac and zero problems have occurred. I would like to be able to play my game in my main OS on my mac rather than duel booting. Kinda annoying. My specs are below as well as a photo of the issue.
Model Name: iMac
Model Identifier: iMac13,1
Processor Name: Intel Core i5
Processor Speed: 2.7 GHz
Number of Processors: 1
Total Number of Cores: 4

I've added your post to this El Capitan thread, I'm assuming you're running El Capitan? If not I can move it back but your Mac is exhibiting the issues that others are reporting in this thread. Please read the second post. Unfortunately EA have not released a fix yet.

Hi, I just got a new MacBook Pro and I really want to get The Sims 4 but after reading through this thread I'm concerned it won't work and I'm afraid to spend money on it and then have it not run. I don't know if it's possible but would anyone be able to tell me if I'll be able to install and run the game? Or if someone has similar specs to my computer, does it work for you? I know I meet the requirements to technically run the game but I've seen people here say they still had trouble because of El Capitan, etc.
OS X El Capitan Version 10.11.2
MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, Early 2015)
Processor: 2.7 GHz Intel Core i5
Memory: 8 GB 1867 MHz DDR3
Graphics: Intel Iris Graphics 6100 1536 MB
Thanks if anyone can help!

The trouble with El Capitan and the game is only relevant if you have one of the specific NVIDIA graphics cards. You don't so you should be fine.
