I don't believe I have any antivirus running, Where can I verify?
The other things you mention no.
They are in a separate folder for the time being. I tried regenerating a new mods folder the adding things in slowly, but now I just opted out of CC. My game is constantly crashing still and Idk why.

Your Mac has both integrated and dedicated graphics. Click on the Apple icon in the top left corner of your desktop and select About This Mac. Now click on System Report, what is the Model Identifier of your Mac? Next click on Graphics/Displays in the list on the left. Please can you copy and paste the info about your NVIDIA graphics. Maybe your Mac is one of the ones affected and you're the first to post about it. I doubt it though as I think you have 1Gb VRAM and it is the Macs with NVIDIA 6xxM 512 MB VRAM which are mainly affected

Your Mac is one of the ones affected, you have an NVIDIA 650M GPU with 512 MB. As you can see in the second post on this thread the game is not working on Macs with these graphics cards. EA are aware and a fix will apparently be released in December.

thank you. I will look forward to playing my game.

I have an issue to. I got the laptop about a month ago from Apple (11/2015), with specs:
MacBook Pro (Retina, Mid 2015)
Processor 2.2 GHz Intel Core i7
Memory 16 GB 1600 MHz DDR3
Graphics Intel Iris Pro 1536 MB
Updated from Yosemite to El Captain
I have Sims 4 Deluxe with Get to Work and Holiday expansions through Origin.
The issue I have is an extremely high usage of CPU (like at some point at 125%), heating and very loud what I assume to be some kind of cooling fan. All the settings are to the lowest, and all nonessential software is off. I never let it get hot enough to turn off, so I don't know if it'd happen... Is there anything I can do, or should I just let it go?

That CPU usage is nothing to worry about. You'll probably notice that when you're on a loading screen it will jump up to 160-180%. You have a quad core i7 CPU so it's nice and powerful.
Your Mac has integrated graphics which are not the best for gaming, dedicated are preferable. But you should still be fine on medium settings.
The aluminium casing of your Mac is designed to dissipate the height produced - it's going to feel hot. Make sure air can circulate underneath otherwise it will be in danger of overheating. Just placing it on a couple of DVD cases is enough but some people swear by cooling pads.

Mac Specs:OS X El Capitan version 10.11.1
iMac Late 2013
Processor 3.2 GHz Intel Core i5
Memory 8GB 1600 MHz DDR3
NVIDIA GeForce GT 755M 1024 MB
I updated to El Capitan
I have every Expansion/Game?Stuff Packs installed
Every time I go into the game, I'm able to get into a household, but the graphics make the game unplayable. Then after a few minutes, I'm kicked out of the game and I get an error that The Sims 4 unexpectedly quits. I tried calling Apple but the attempt was unsuccessful. Please help!

Thanks for the info. It seems that your graphics card may also be affected by the problem. I'll add your specs. to the second post.

For the record, the El Capitan bugs were NOT fixed during the December update. I'm a little bummed. I guess I'll have to wait another month to (maybe) play again.
