Here is the link to the CC:
My file now looks like this. Opened up the game and it still did not recognise the mod. Hopefully it works for you.

Yes, it showed up fine in my game:
Can I just confirm that your file path is Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 > Mods?
Do you have iCloud Drive enabled? If so can you change the settings so your Documents folder isn't moved to the cloud, if applicable?
And CC/Mods are definitely enabled in game?

Yes, both CC and script mods are enabled in the options.
My electronic Arts folder is in applications not in documents- does that make a difference?
March 2017
Yes! It should be in your Documents folder. Please can you move it and then try the game again.

@Abby23190 You can try pulling your entire TS4 game folder out of Documents and onto your desktop. When you launch the game again, a clean folder will spawn with no content. Find one cc item or mod that you know is up-to-date after the most recent patch, and add only that one item to your game folder. If it shows up in-game, then you can start adding more of your cc back into the new folder, a bit at a time. Keep testing the content to make sure it still works; if it doesn't, you'll know that one of the items you just added is broken or incompatible with the latest patch.
If you can't even get one cc item to show up in-game, please try the steps described in Bluebellflora's post earlier in this thread:
