This suggestion, while tempting, has drawbacks that make it impractical to implement. If you could send currency to other players, people would create multiple accounts to "farm" and send resources to their main account. So as nice as it would be to be able to give my little brother a dishwasher or some extra LP, I can't see this ever happening. If you can further develop your idea and come up with a strategy to prevent abuse of the system were it implemented, then you should make a new suggestion explaining your logic and may get more results.
