Sims freeplay deleting quests

How do you delete old quests in Sims Freeplay. I didn’t finish DIY homes peaceful patios on time and now it’s stuck even though I purchased over 5,000 worth of furniture I can’t move one.  Lost 10,000 doing the same chore

Discovery and main quests can not be deleted, they need to be finished

You need to have done the patio quest before you can do the Balcony, basement and mezzanine quests

When you say you've bought furniture, do you mean the task "buy outdoor decorations"?

You need to spend 55,000. Outdoor tab and the flamingo icon, only those items will register for the task

If you only spent 10,000, it will not be considered done
