Sims FreePlay - Balconies not working??

So I have the latest January 2018 update and I started noticing that in a lot of my higher buildings I can no longer build a balcony on top of a room beyond the 2nd floor. I’ve done it to other buildings before so I know it’s not just my imagination. I’ve tried rebuilding from scratch. I’ve tried deleting rooms and adjusting things. I’ve tried deleting whole floors through the floor layers in build mode. I’ve included two pictures. The first is obviously what I’m seeing when I want to build on top of a room, and then when I try to build in the yellow highlight (which still does not work).
Is this just a new thing or a glitch??

I’m having the same trouble. Hope they sort it out, I’m halfway through a build.

Same here as well, glad to see I’m not the only one lol. Hopefully it’s just a glitch and they’ll fix it in the next update.
