Game wont let me help sims at movie studio

My game won't allow me to help sims at the movie studio, I used to be able to but can't now. I try and press the icon above a sims head and the footsteps sign appears over my Sims head, which usually only appears when a sims path is blocked by something, but idk why it's happening at the studio. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game but that didn't work.

Which task? at which location?

I always use crew and never let the Performer or Director on site shifts (once they've reached the top)

so I don't know if the rooms, sets or trailers have issues

I do know that the squad car at the police station have had issues with blue footprints in the past

maybe this is something that happens to the Movie studio as well

I haven't seen anyone currently having problems with the professional workplaces but that only means you're the first to tell me, not that there isn't others having the same issue, it very well could be so

I am having this same problem!! Just started yesterday and can’t find a workaround
