Can't use crafting stations in French romance event

The last time the French romance event was offered I only needed the crepe cart in order to get the French chateau. However, now when the event is offered it says I cannot use stations (other than candles) until I've unlocked them yet the progress bar shows I've unlocked everything??

Did you manage to resolve the issue? I’m currently having this problem with the hair today gone tomorrow event.

Was this matter ever resolved? Same issue with the Simtown Health Spa event.

I have the same problem with the laundry live quest I only need the last thing I am so mad I hope they sort it out soon
