Can’t place a object

So I was doing the quest that lets you have a baby and I was trying to place the magazine it didn’t let me put it down it just said it was in the red I tried everywhere wouldn’t let me.

Have you tried to plave ot on a table, countertop, bedside table or a wardorbe chest?
It cannot be placed on the floor
