when i wanted to download the sims 3 generations directions there was not a link to download it with

@shelps4  You need to download Generations from within Origin itself.  Open your game library and click on the Sims 3 icon.  Then click on More > Expansion Packs and scroll to where Generations is listed.  There should be a Download button under the pack's icon.
