sims 3 lagging after patch 1.63

I got all the sims 3 games and since I got the new patch 1.63.5 my game is lagging like all the time. Before I installed the new patch there weren't any lag at all. can i fix it?

Try resetting all your Sims in your town with resetsim *

To do so

Open the cheat console with ctl-shift-c
Type resetsim * (including the *)

This should put all your sims and animals to a safe location.

You might have a stuck Sim somewhere
