sims 3 game

I'm on a Macbook air and downloaded sims 3 on Origin and the download says "Finalizing" and wont let me play.

I have tried restarting my mac and no luck--

@torimbutler  Please run the Origin reset tool for macs:

If it is the download that's finalizing, and not the install process, you'll need to download the game again.  If it gets stuck on finalizing again, you may be able to circumvent Origin altogether, depending on whether Origin is correct about the download still being in progress.  (Let me know if this happens again.)
