So a few days ago I was bored and wanted to play TS3. I have only University Life installed as a expansion pack and was eager to play it some more, but I couldn't get past the login screen on Origin. There is a little orange bar and in white text it reads the same thing : "Online login is currently unavailable."
Being myself I tried to login normally but then it says, "You must be online when logging in for the first time." This isn't my first time though, far from it. So I left the login screen and came back the next day, but the same thing pops up. Now, every time I try to login, the same thing appears and this has been happening for a while now, 3 days if you want to be exact.
There are no posts on TS3 website about maintenance and I'm sure this is only for me, but I want to be sure that there is some sort of bug and not actual server down time. How do I fix the problem if it is a bug, please and thank you?

I am currently having this exact same problem. Has been showing the same messages as you listed for about a week now. I just purchased Island Paradise and can't download it. Very frustrating. Ihave spent 4 hours chatting to online EA support and an hour on the phone to their "specialist team," and the problem is persisting.
How long did it take for your problem to correct itself? I really want to play my new game
My launcher resolved itself on it's own, apparently. It just did ; I didn't do anything but wait. Unfortunately this didn't last very long and now I'm stuck in the same situation all over again, except it never seems to fix! As for how long it took me before, I believe it was 3-5 days? It's been a while so I don't remember exactly, ha;;;
Anyway, I think Origin just doesn't really work, y'know? If EA doesn't know what to do, then, well.. shoot.

Last March, there was a weekend when no moderators did anything about the commercial spammers from just after noon on Friday until after the AHQ site crashed under the load of 16,000 "guest" Spam-Bots' aboard, so every page of the indexes for the most popular of games was nothing but hundreds of advertisements for various illegally obtained pirated sports video feeds. That happened on Tuesday, I don't know whether it was some kind of unofficial strike on their part, or why it was allowed to go on so long.
A half day later, maybe less, after AHQ was back online, I started getting that error attempting to Log In here at AHQ. I had never really needed or wanted anything ti do with Origin, and never installed that system's local client. When I tried that, the same error message appeared for that Log-In. I was able to Log In at EA's main forum site, and after posting a query there, it didn't seem anyone else had my problem. I managed to connect to EA Help through a sort of back door, because the Origin site had a second opportunity to Log In when you accessed the Help Menu and the Live Chat there.
Nothing they suggested helped. I ended up with another (Windows XP) OS version, another video card, and a different browser, but what seemed to be the key was the Windows Framework upgrades, which appear to be optional, but for Origin and AHQ, turned out otherwise. Good luck, and I hope it's easier for you than it was for me!
This issue is still ongoing. I tried everyday - still the same error message comes up.
Was hoping to try out BF4 Beta - but with this issue... thinking of cancelling my order for BF4 premium.
Fix it please.
this message has been on my login since last may, and i havent been able to play any of my games becasue of it. i dont think that it will automaticaly fix itself. is there anything that i can do ro fix it?

I would open a thread in the Origin forum. You'll get better help with Origin issues there.
