lost items

I can't buy any groceries other than fish, seeds and harvestable plants have disappeared from my game, and some collectibles no longer exist. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling all my games but it hasn't helped. I don't know what else to do! I can't complete opportunites or some adventures because the items don't exist in my game anymore.

Are you using mods ? Sounds like you have an incompatible one in there. Remove it and delete the cache files

Go to documents\ea\thesims3 and delete these files

• CASPartCache.package
• compositorCache.package
• scriptCache.package
• simCompositorCache.package
• socialCache.package

Mods need to updated with patches, especially EP patches.
