i brought extension packs like paradise island ambitions and others by download code back in 2016 but they have gone and love to get them back as I love the sims

@WVOH The first thing to try is clearing Origin's cache, and if that doesn't work, uninstalling and reinstalling Origin "the hard way."

If these steps don't help, it's possible that the packs were blocked by EA. This could be a mistake, but if you bought from a third-party seller, you might have received bad codes. EA has been deactivating these codes for a couple of years now, even though the players usually had no idea that there was anything wrong with their purchases.
The only way to find out if this is what happened to your packs, and correct any mistake, is to contact EA customer support. Someone on that end can look at your account status and let you know what happened.
