cant sign up on sims 3 website

When ever i try to register on The Sims 3 Website, the serial code is already filled and when i press sign up it says - "The serial code you entered is invalid. Please enter a valid serial code and re-submit. Leave serial code empty to register without a serial code." Where as I just bought this game today (i.e. Island paradise Plus which includes The Sims 3 base game and The island paradise expansion pack) and i spent $50 on this. Im really mad at this crap. i dont know wat to do. mileymad:
