Why was my Post deleted from your site.?

Can't find my Post about the fire my sims had. Called firemen. He stood around while my sims tried to extinguish the fire. The toddlet died because I could not get any sims to help him. For a half hour they tried to extinguish the fire. They almost died. I quite thegame without saving. Why did the firemen stand around and why couldn't my Sims extinguish the fire?
