Transferring or downloading the Sims 3 to a laptop with no disc drive

So I own the Sims 3 and have it downloaded on my old computer which has a disc drive. I'm planning to get rid of it cause I just bought a new laptop but it doesn't have a disc drive. I was wondering how to transfer or download it onto my new laptop without having to buy anything.

if your games are registered in origin then download origin onto your laptop  go to your my games tab download the digital version of your games from there right click the game icon-download
