I tried to install the Sims 3 on my new computer. It said I needed to redeem my code so I attempted to do that. It wouldn't let me. It kept saying that the code was already being used. So I got told to register my game instead. Now it keeps saying my code/serial number is invalid. It's not! I've installed the Sims 3 before on a previous computer and had no problems like this. But it won't come up in 'My Games' on my account.
I installed Late Night and that comes up in 'My Games' but the installation game wont. I don't know whether I need to buy a new installation disk or not. But I shouldn't have to go out and spend more money on a game I already have.

NO do don't buy what you already own
if the game was bought 2nd hand/used the code/s will be tied to the original persons account and are non transferable nor can they be re registered to another account for ,newly bought games either from origin or from a shop/store even newly bought games can run into the used/invalid code issue and you may need to contact CS
For Origin
You don't need to re-register again. Simply log in with your Origin account from the desktop shortcut of origin the origin you download with the email and password you use for your account my games tab right click the game icon download If it's not there anymore, contact a game adviser
