I just bought the Sims 3 Monte vista, I can not find any info on it nor can I get it to install. I am not very happy at this point because I also can not find how to get a hold of someone to figure out why it is not installing or is beginning sold to people even though it is no where to be found for information on it.
I will not continue to spend money on the Sims games if randomly it will not install and offers no help for it, that is a full waste of my money!
I am requesting help right away or and way to recieve help.

I'm going to go ahead and assume you bought the disc version.
If this is so, please check here: http://simsvip.com/2013/01/12/sims-3-monte-vista-retail-disc-info-screens/ how it's supposed to work.
If it's not like that, you need to be more specific what happens for you (or doesn't). Make sure you have a working internet connection.

I have the same problem, only I bought mine online so I do not know how to fix the problem. Can anyone help?

I have the code but I do not know where to activate the expansion. It does not appear on my Origin account under My Games but I have the purchase receipt.

Monte Vista is a Store World and as such, it should show up in your purchase History to download and install through the launcher: https://store.thesims3.com/purchaseHistory.html

If that doesn't work, contact customer support

If live chat is gray, change your country to US and make sure you're on US Business hours. It might also gray because they're very busy. Try later.

I'm with you on that one. You can contact origin live chat support, as I did, and they might be able to help you. They couldnt help me, though, and it has been a week now Monte vista still will not work. The codes are not in my history anymore (randomly dissapeared and all it says is "placeholder" with order number) so I cant even check to see if they fixed it today. Personally I'm asking for a refund because its been a huge frustration for me, and support has just told me to wait...

I bought this game, and I tried to install it, and it isn't working. I have internet. I am logged into my origin account. I have the sims 3 already downloaded, but for some reason, it won't work. When I put the disc in, and I run it, it says it is installing it, but the game doesn't work. It doesn't ask for my activation code. And when I open my regualr sims game, there are no new items or towns, etc. This is very aggravating.

The installation on those World disc does not seem to work well.
Try to redeem your codes at thesims3.com manually and then download from your purchase history there.
