Startup Error

I uninstalled The Sims 3 game manually and I started it up. After I opened the launcher the first time it asked me to do updates. I said no and I opened and played the game, then the 2nd time it asked me to update the game I said yes. They installed and now I have the error, "There was an error during setup please see log for more details".
