Sims 3 won’t allow me to play on new laptop

★ Novice

I just bought a Lenovo laptop (windows 10) and I’ve downlaoded the sims 3 but it won’t allow me to play the game. It brings be all the way to the screen where you pick your town but when I try to click the check mark to begin it does literally nothing. I’ve uninstalled TS3 already and it’s still giving me this issue. I went out and bought a laptop mainly so I can play the sims. Please help!!

@brimg96  Please run a dxdiag and attach the file to a post here (use the Browse button).  This will cover a whole host of issues at the same time.  Please also list the packs you've installed.

I don't work for EA. I'm just trying to help fellow players with their games.

@brimg96  Did you enable .net framework in the control panel - programs and features - turn windows features on or off?  This is not enable by default and is required by Sim 3 to run.
