Sims 3 not responding

I have removed and reinstalled Sims 3 numerous times.  It will launch and load the packets, once you select a city it stops responding and will not load.  I have plenty of space and memory.

Hello @thatzmzbrat,

Are you on Windows PC or on Mac? Have you tried launching the game without mods or custom content (if you use any)? 

If you are on Windows do you use Origin? Also, could you please post your DxDiag? To post the DxDiag select the 'Choose File' button below the post box and attach your DxDiag text file.
