Sims 3 has stopped working error message

a problem casued the program to stop working. Windows will close program and notify your it a solution is avaiable.It was working fine  on 9/19/2013 and stopped the next day I tried  system restore that didn't work.

This is usually a video device driver problem. you may need to update the video driver.
