I bought a new computer and it came with a Windows 10 upgrade. I reinstalled Sims 3 and my EPs. The Sims 3 launcher comes up, but when I hit the play button nothing happens. What do I do to fix it. I also already tried this:
Program Files (x86) > Origin Games > The Sims 3 > Game > Bin > TS3

@Kari1986 please download and install the super patch from here: http://answers.ea.com/t5/The-Sims-3/FAQ-Current-Patch-1-67-Manual-links-and-more/td-p/67858
Also try: Right-click on the Origin icon on your desktop and choose run as administrator.
Right-click on the Sims 3 icon on your desktop and choose run as administrator
Let me know if that helps

I uninstalled everything Sims 3, but I also already tried to run them both as administrator but it didn't work. I haven't reinstalled my Sims 3 yet

@Kari1986 I don't understand. Do you have anything installed currently?

I uninstalled Sims 3 this morning and I haven't reinstalled it yet, but I was having issues for two days. My Sims 4 works fine

@Kari1986 if you've uninstalled it, obviously you cannot play it as it's not installed?

I uninstalled it to see if reinstalling it would solve the problem, I haven't had a chance to reinstall it yet
