Hi,
I just purchased a brand new high spec computer on Monday and I installed some of my Sims 3 games that I had on disc onto my computer and then I purchased others from Origin. My most recent puchase is The Sims 3: Into the Future and I played it last night with no issues what so ever. The game ran smoothly and I was really happy with how good it was running on this computer.
I tried to come on this morning and play it and the launch app appears. However, when I click the 'play' button a black screen appears for a second and then the full program closes.
I have been searching thread ater thread for a solution to this problem and I have no idea how to fix it. I am beyond frustrated, because I bought this new PC for personal use and I can't even play my favourite game on it. I'd really like to get some gaming time in before I start back University on Monday, so if anyone could help I'd really appreciate it!
I ran DxDiag too and I can't figure it out.
