Sims 3 Pets in Mountain Lion

Hi, I first had my sims pets working really well in my computer. I had to erease every file in my computer because of some storage issues then I uploaded my system to Mountain Lion and now I want to install back my sims 3 pets. I have already installed the base game, but I can't install the pets expansion. It says that it has installed 34 out of 84 and it stays there forever.

PLEASE HELP!!!

Is your disk scratched in any way ? Try cleaning it a little to see if that helps.

it isn't scratched! I have googled my problem and some people seem to have the same issue but nobody knows what causes it...
