Sims 3 Generations not showing up on game

Recently, I installed all my Sims 3 + expansions to my laptop (windows).

All the games worked perfectly fine on my macbook.

- Sims 3

- Supernatural

- Ambitions

- Pets

- Outdoor living stuff

- Island paradise

- Seasons

- High end loft stuff

- Late night

- Showtime

- Master Suite stuff

- University 

- and also Generations

Origin shows that all of the above expansion packs are installed.

When I start the Sims (with the latest patch, updated) there's the option showing which expansions I'd like to play.

All the expansions are showing up, except for generations.

I tried to unstill and reinstall, updated the game but nothing works.

Please help!

Also: I bought almost every game at Steam.

Supernatural and generations were bought on some other website (second hand), but generations used to work on my macbook. 

The game says its for apple and windows.

@ducester1 The activation code can only be used once. The first person to use the code is considered the owner. Many second hand stores are refusing to take games like Sims 3. Steam codes will work with Origin. If you bought packs from a seller who is not authorized by EA you need to contact the seller.
