Sims 3 Game Update 1.67 not working

so i have now tried updating my version of the sims 3 several times to the 1.67 version. Tried in the sims launcher it downloads but keeps prompting me to update my game and doesnt do anything. I then tried the super patch twice but this does absolutley nothing. please help!! im on a PC runing windows 8.1

Mines not working how'd you get yours to go?

My computer says I am already on the current version but when I go to download my new expansion pack it says I need to update my game. I went and got the super patch for PC, which my computer is, and it says it downloaded but nothing has happened. I went into the files of my computer but i can't seem to find it. Any idea's?

What version do you see in the lower left corner of your launcher ?

Which expansion pack are you trying to install ?
