Sims 3 - Access issues

★★★ Newbie

I bought Sims 3 a few months back and it has been fine but now it is asking for me to re-entre the code. When I enter the original code I received when I purchased the game it says the code has already been redeemed.. why is it doing this?

@AbbeyMarston  The code doesn't work because you already used it; codes can't be registered multiple times, even to the same account.  Please make sure you're using the same account as you did before.  If you are, is Sims 3 listed in your Origin library?  If not, you can try clearing Origin's cache, and if that doesn't work, uninstalling and reinstalling Origin itself "the hard way," which wouldn't affect your TS3 install.

If these steps don't help, you'll need to contact EA customer support so that someone on that end can look into what happened to your code.  Packs can get blocked by EA, and I guess the base game can be too.  This could be a mistake, but if you purchased from an unauthorized third-party seller, it's possible that you received a bad code, and it has only just been cancelled.  The only way to find out if this is the case, and to fix a mistake, is through EA support.

I don't work for EA. I'm just trying to help fellow players with their games.
