Saved sims missing in CAS' sim bin

Hi,

I have a weird problem.  Some (not all) of my self-made, saved sims and custom content are missing in the CAS sims bin.  Pre-made sims and pets are still there as usual.  The weird thing is, the sims and custom content are all still in the "SavedSims" and "Downloads" folders. 

I think this started happening after an Origins update.  Since then, I also have to log in to Origins to start The Sims 3.

Anyone have any ideas what may have happened?  I have no mods installed, other than custom content.  This never happened before, I've not downloaded any new custom content recently.

@Hana1007 the latest update requires you to login to Origin in order to play - you downloaded it, so that explains why you now have to login.
