help with sims 3

Hi there im not sure if this is the right place but i had sims 3 on my computer and i had to update my computer and sims 3 was gone and now im trying to re install it, the code is saying it has been used but i redeemed the code through origin and its still saying the code has been used i just want to know whats going on and how can i fix it

where you reinstalling via disks got the error message? and if the game/s are missing from your origin account  if so contact CS
