Problems With Login

I had an update yesterday for Origin, and I think it seemed to affect my launcher for Sims 3 also, excuse my vagueness but I am a bit of a techophobe.

Anyhoo, I hadnt changed my password for ages so as all was updated (at least I think it is) I am unable to log into my Sims account.  At first I login and it just seems to keep trying, the disc spins and spins so I thought I would try to do it again and this time it comes up with a message that there is a techy problem and to try again yesterday.  This was happening all yesterday and now when I am trying to log in to buy some items with points I have Its the luxury spa offer and is only available for a few days so its getting a bit of a bummer!!!!

Any suggestions, preferebly in dumby language that I will understand LOL!!!

One question also, if I change my Origin password will that change my Sims Launcher Password too???

For any issues regarding accounts/refunds, please follow these steps to contact a game advisor for more help:

1. Click the link https://help.ea.com/en/contact-us/ask and log in with your Origin name and password.

2. Where it says: ’What Can We Help you With’, type in ‘GAME NAME’

3. Click Find Solutions

4. Select "Your problem,eg accounts" from the drop-down list and also select your platform from the list.

5. Click: Find Solutions

6. Scroll down a little and on the lower right hand side, Click "I Still need Help"

Yes, Origin and launcher password are the same.

• Is this on the website or in the launcher ?
• What error message are you getting ?
• What is your base game version right now ?
  
  Open the launcher and check the number in the lower left corner.

Thaks for your message, I have a message from another member, but its all a bit long and drawn out so I thought I would answer yours before I see whats what with the other one.

I actually realised after I asked about the Origin and launcher p/w being the same that I was having a bit of a dumb moment considering I have been using the same one for the last goodness how long that I have been playing Sims, but thanks for confirming that.

 On the launcher I can log in, but it shows on the launcher that  I havent.   I can get onto my game now, but it just says I am not logged in.

 There is no specific error message when I try to log into the Community Pages it just says something along the lines of 'please try logging in later, we    are experiencing technical diffuculties.  Like I said, it was not quite like that but much the same.  It has a section in blue print and a section in black.'

 The version is 1.63.4.024.017
